i called verizon and they had me try a few things:
- remove the battery while the phone is still powered on and then try a call.
- make sure i have the latest update. I snagged an update last night.
- if still have issues i opted for the new phone being that it was within the 30 day period. Although i have to wait for it to ship on august 4th, but i would rather a new phone than a certified refurbish at this point of only having the phone for a week.
