connecting Tachometer to a harley davidson 2007 softtail standard

so if you are like me you were trying to make a modification to bike with NO stock tachometer. So i was told by a company that tapping into the coil wires is not a good idea because it can burn out the tachometer. I also noticed after tapping into the coil wires i wasn't getting the desired results. So i broke out the wiring diagrams and noticed there wasn't a tachometer wire coming out of my ECM.

With some minor modifications, pin which had a blank now has a wire feeding my tachometer. So if you can get a clip from your harley with the female end, depending on the length you can clamp it to a wire and send it through the clip. it worked for me with minor shortening of the female pin. it was too long so i clipped and shortened it.
